1. Is there parking available?  Yes, parking is available for free for the tour.
  2. Do I need to make a reservation?  Yes, reservations are required.  Tour size is limited and is filled on a first come, first serve basis.  The best way to make a reservation is to either message us through our Facebook page, or call our reservation line at 865-361-5910.
  3. Is the tour cancelled if it is raining?  No, the tour is given rain or shine.  If there is dangerous lightning in the area, we will wait or cancel.  Refunds will be given.
  4. What is your cancellation policy?  Tours not cancelled 24 hours in advance will not be refunded, but a rain-check will be given for a future tour.  No-shows will not be refunded nor rebooked.
  5. Do I need to tip?  Gratuities for servers on food tours is already included.  Some tour guests choose to tip their guide for job well done; though this not expected, it is always appreciated.
  6. Do you offer discounts?  Mention WFIVES for a $5 per person discount.    Please ask about military, senior and other discounts.
  7. Are your tours open to children?  Unless marked otherwise (as in the Gatlinburg Wine and Dine tour), all tours are family friendly.
  8. What if I have a food allergy/sensitivity?  If we are given enough notice, we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.  However, substitutions are not guaranteed.
  9. What if I just want to take the tour but not eat?  There will be no discounted price for those who do not partake of the food.  The tour price also includes compensating our guides for their time and expertise.
  10. Are the tours accessible?  The food tours are accessible.  The tour of Elkmont is mostly accessible.  There are slight hills and terrain that may be difficult for wheelchairs, and there are steps at one stop.  One would still be able to enjoy the large part of this tour if wheelchair bound.
  11. Are all of the foods pictured on this website served on the tour?  The foods pictured on this website are representative of foods that have been served on the tour at one point.  They may or may not be the foods that you enjoy on your tour.
  12. Are pets allowed on the tour?  Although Gatlinburg is a pet-friendly town, because we will be going in to establishments that serve food, pets other than service animals are not allowed.  It is the policy of the Park Service that pets are not allowed on the trails at Elkmont.
  13. Is there a set schedule for tours?  No.  Though we make every attempt to offer tours on a regular schedule, weather, availability of guides and other factors require an occasional alteration in the schedule.  Call for tour schedules when you are interested in coming.
  14. Are drinks available?  Water is served at several stops along the tour.  Soft drinks and other beverages can be purchased on an individual basis.
  15. Are restrooms available?  Yes, there are restrooms at several stops along the way.
  16. Is shopping possible?  Yes, there are stops along the route that will have things for purchase.
  17. Is there a discount available for places we stop on the tour?  Yes, most of the vendors on the tour offer a discount after the tour is finished.  You will be given a passport to savings, which will be dated for the day of your tour.  It is valid for 7 days after the tour is over.  Note: It is valid on food and non-alcoholic beverages; by law, alcohol cannot be discounted.
  18. Where does the tour begin?  Once you make your reservation, you will be given the information as to the starting point of the tour you are taking.  Each tour has a different starting point.
