Our Tours

BUS TOURS:  To be very clear here:  WE DO NOT OWN A BUS.  However, if you are a bus tour operator, and are looking for activities and things for your group to do, they are welcome to participate in any of the tours below.  Additionally, we can put together a custom tour for your group and your bus. We can provide a tour guide who will meet you, and ride on the bus and conduct a custom made tour for your group.  Tours usually last 2 – 4 hours, and are very reasonably priced per person.  Please contact us if you are interested, and we can design a tour for you.

A TASTE OF GATLINBURG This tour has 5 – 6 stops, and features all locally owned establishments.  A passport to savings card is given at the beginning of the tour, and is good for a 10 – 20% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverage purchases for one week at most stops on the tour.  As we go along the tour route, we learn the history of Gatlinburg: how it got its first name, how it got its second name, and the events and colorful characters that made our town what it is today.  At each stop, we have a sample of food (samples are generous, come hungry!)  Samples may include dessert, barbecue, catfish, homemade potato chips, and more.  This tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours, and is generally offered Tuesday or Thursday afternoon.  Tour size is limited to 14 people.  The cost of this tour is $39; be sure to check out our Facebook page or the FAQ section of this website for discount codes.  This tour is also offered as a private tour for groups of six or more, based on availability of tour guides.  Please call for more information.

GATLINBURG WINE AND DINE: This tour is offered on request only; it is a smaller, more intimate experience.  Tour size is limited to one group of 4 to 8 people, and lasts 2 – 2 1/2 hours.  There are usually five stops on this tour.  At at least three of them, there will be a wine or hand-crafted beer pairing with the food sample.  Food tasting will be more than a bite, less than a full-sized entree.  As we go from stop to stop, we will learn the stories of the people who shaped this town and its history.  This tour is for adults 21 and over.  The cost of this tour is $80 per person; be sure to check out our Facebook page or the FAQ section of this website for discount codes.

ENCHANTED ELKMONT: A STROLL BACK IN TIME  (Also offered on request only, minimum of 8 in the group).  Elkmont is one of the most visited places in the park, yet one with a rich history that goes largely untold.  Stroll back in time as we relive the history of Elkmont.  Sometimes referred to as a “ghost town”, this area has such character.  We will cover about a mile as we walk through the old streets, learn about the history of the railroad and logging industry, some of the rich folks from Knoxville who made this their summer home, and the last resident in the National Park.  This tour lasts 2 – 2 1/2 hours.  Tours are generally done in the morning, and are for groups of 8 – 30 people.  Cost per person is $29; as always, be sure to check out our Facebook page or the FAQ section of this website for a discount code.  Old and young will enjoy this tour, be sure to bring a camera.
